Ok, so this wasn't my favorite Crusie by a long shot. But, a bad Crusie is better than most chick lit any day. This one seems fluffier and more mindless than the rest I've read, but still written with style and wit.

Crusie's books are good for a light read. Bring one to the beach or on a plane. Predictable and sappy...but fun!

I wasn't a Jennifer Crusie fan, but then I read this book and I've sort of changed my mind. If I can find more of her books written like this one, I'd be happy! This was cute and short, I like them that way:)

Cute, fun read. I really like Crusie's books - just enough humor, sex, romance.

This book was very fun and funny. I had many moments that I actually laughed out loud. Not as much of a Chick Lit book because there aren't really "problems" the main female role has to overcome. You get perspectives from both Allie and Charlie. It was a quick, enjoyable read, the characters were likable but human. Highly recommended.

Despite my prejudice against romance novels and chick lit in general I am a Crusie fan. That said this book is not the reason I'm a fan, in fact this book very thoroughly showcases why I developed my prejudice against the genre in the first place. It is so fluffy there is almost no content aside from badly written and unrealistic sex scenes and romantic relationships. Generally Crusie is hilarious and keeps me in stitches but this one fell way flat. It gets a 3 out of 5.
