Started off a little slow, but after about half way through it picked up very quickly.
The chapters are short, so the read went by very quickly. They are about 5-10 pages per chpater. Some of the plot seemed choppy at times.

Overall a cute, fun read. The little lists were adorable. The drag-queen ghost was a hoot.

I would not call this book the 4th in the Bronwyn Witch series… if anything it is a pre-quel . This book takes place before or within the first few chapters of “Charmed and Dangerous”, before Bronwyn meets Sam… and she just meets and befriends Kira and Marjorie in this book.
That being said, I loved it. It was great to see the development of Kira and Caleb as characters. But the the book seems like it was just the beginning of including Kira’s adventures into the series. Though is a good read on its own. There is no reason you need to have read the Bronwyn books to read this one, and I am a stickler about reading books in the order they were written.

I think that Ms. Havens could be a good writter if she had a bit more experience and someone to help her to flesh out key parts of the story. The story was fun, quick and cute.I would of liked to read more about the Library and some of people in town.
