Pretty standard fantasy-romance, with its brooding hero, feisty heroine, and steamy sex scenes.

The basics: surfer girl goes to small island in Scotland, meets very hot ghost. You do have to suspend disbelief, but the characters are live and lively, and the plot, such as it is, moves right along. The ending is a little too easy, but this is a charming, fast moving, fun way to spend a few hours.

Not sure how much I liked it; her strictly historical stuff is much better.

This book surprised me with how well it was written. I expected your typical, sappy romance that was long on sex and short on substance. But I was very wrong! Yes, this did have a few steamy sex scenes, but the bulk of the book was plot based and was very well done.
