Apparently, this event is also called Boucheron 2008. For all those mystery and thriller lovers, go to the website and read the schedule. The panel topics, alone, are great insider information from the minds of the writers. This also seems to be the home of the Anthony Awards and, I think, the Shamus Award which will take place at Westminster Church in Baltimore, where Edgar Allan Poe is buried. www.charmedtodeath.com If you are attending, their blog will take you to the best Baltimore crabcakes at Faidley's in Lexington Market (Zagat Survey agrees) and also Berger cookies (vanilla cookies with a thick shmear of dark chocolate), also in Lexington Market near the convention site. |
