Quick easy read with very interesting storyline with very likable characters. Also interesting information regarding the native american culture. Worth the read.
If I had known this was a time travel story before I read it, I would not have picked it up and it would have been a big mistake. A magical white stallion who can help his owner, a part Apache bank robber from 1869, escape danger by taking him through 132 years of time. A modern day woman who when faced with danger is taken by this same stallion back to 1869 in order to protect her. Mystery, intrique, love, humor, educational and yet just plain fun. A book I found I did do not want to put down because I had to know what happened next. A wonderful story.
The stallion emerged from the swirling mist, sunlight dancing on its white coat glinting like liquid silver in its flowing mane and tail. It was a spirit horse, Trey had been told, one that would always carry him away from danger. Ang if ever he'd needed such an animal, now was the time. With a bullet in is back and a posse on his trail, he wouldn't last long. Amanda couldn't believe her eyes when the white stallion appeared in her yard with a wounded man on its back, ruggedly handsome, the stranger fascinated her. He had about him an aura of danger and desire that excited her as her law abiding fiance never could. But something didn't add up. Trey seemed bewildered by te amenities of modern life, he wanted nothing to do with the police and he had a stack of 1863 bank notes in his saddlebags. Then one soul stirring kiss made it all clear, trey might have held up a bank and stolen through time, but when he took her love it would be no robbery but a gift of the heart.
This is a excellant romantic time travel book. I Loved this story.
I usually like romance books that are a little bit "hotter", but this one had SUCH a great story, I didn't mind. It was sweet, romantic, exciting, and had an unusual time travel twist. A fun read; recommended!
I really like this author.
