A woman hires a PI to find her friend who has disappeared after meeting a man on the Internet. Little does the PI know that this case may be tied to a crime that happened in her own mysterious past as well.
I thought this book was really good. It has a mystery within a mystery and a simple Christian message.
Good book. It keeps your attention and makes you want to finish to figure out what happens.
Do you know who your friends are? Lonely, nervous Glynis Piggot hires Teri to find her only friend, who disappeared after meeting a man on the Internet. Soon a simple missing persons case leads to a suspected cult compound, a hostage crisis, and a ritual murder - echoes from Teri's own past on the police force. This threat may be closer to home than she realized ...
Religous Thriller. Even though I figured out early who was who, the book was easy to read and kept my interest so that I wanted to keep reading to find out what happened.
How disappointing that I had already read this book and forgot I did!
But as I read, I remembered and it was a great story.
Characters are realistic and suspense all the way through..
