I absolutely loved this book. I have always been fascinated by Castles and this one was portrayed so interestingly. She includes info on Castle web sites and I spent days looking at them online. I could have stayed at this castle forever. I bet she could find a way to write a series, hint, hint!

Siri Mitchell always does an amazing job sharing broken people with us to find their way to God without being preaching, but with showing great depth of emotion through the struggles. This book is no different. We meet a woman who has ignored her relationship with God to live with an atheist husband (now deceased) who meets a man who is a new believer struggling to figure out how to live with his new faith. A side story is about a young girl who is innocent and must find a way to live with her husband who ignores her. Great insight into the lives of ordinary people.

Good character development. An interesting glance into French Briton history. A good read.
