I'm not usually a romance reader, but I found nancy Bartholomew's writing easy and pleasant and this book was a good read!
I enjoyed this book! The main character is one tough talking woman and very 'country'! she's divorced and trying to get on with her life and then her ex brother in law who's wanted her for years is found dead in her house and her 38 is missing. the detective thinks she did it but has a good reason for it..he wants her to trust him and she wants him to believe her. good whodoneit type story when she decides to clear her name by finding the killer herself. I'd like to see this one in a movie starring dolly parton LOL..especially the talking and kicking butt at the end!
