We are a homeschool family and new to paperback swap.  We have sorted through TEN bookshelves and have posted lots of our books. We would like to think that we have saved the very best for PBS.  I would ask you to look at both our bookshelf and our wish list.  Maybe you have something sitting around the house that you are finished with that we need.  We especially like unit studies from Progeny Press and the YWAM Heroes of History and Christian Hero series.  Otherwise know that you will find a lot of Christian fiction for adults and several nice children's books on our shelf.  Please check it out.

Welcome to PBS! Thanks for the invitation. I'll take a look now. :)

Scott, I took a look and wanted to make a comment.  If you spent time tagging your books, that would help a LOT!  :D

What is "tagging"?  I have this much time into it already -- sure want to do what it takes to be successful.  Please advise.

I'll add to Scott's question:  What tags do you find most useful?  Grade level? Curriculums that use that particular book?

Scott:  When you are looking at a book (either on the book's information page, or on your "book shelf" page, you can click "+tag" to add descriptive tags to help someone search for your book, like "teacher resource" or "WWII."  You can also add tags that list the curriculum that the book goes with--for example, if you have books that go with the Five In A Row series or are on the Sonlight reading list.

I like to see tags that list the curriculum the book is used in.  Then, if the grade level isn't obvious in the title, or in the photo, that's nice, too.

For textbooks it's especially helpful to know if they're high school or college level.

Sometimes from the "front page" of a book, it's hard to tell what company it's from.  Many times, you can open that book's page and see which publisher it is...but even those are inconsistent.

When I post books that are related to HS'ing in any way, I like to mark them as such.  Also, when I list a book without an ISBN, if it's a book I've used for HS'ing, I put it in that genre (among others).
