I was wondering about her books. I see a few people here read them and was wondering where I should start. I was thinking the Mercenary was the first in her series? What is the order?

I love Cherry Adair.  You can go to her website and see the order of her books.

I don't remember the order but seems like she has the neat website with the music and stuff...I couldnt' access it at work :-(  I'm thinking of starting these soon myself. It hink there are 3 with 'edge' in the title that tie into the T-Flac ones but they're more 'psychic' or 'paranormal' I think...I thin they just reprinted 'the mercenary' so you're in luck..that one was hard to find but it was a smaller silhouette type read and not sure it even needs to be read first for hte others to make sense...

I've read the 1st and the last one. The Mercenary is the 1st of the TFlac books. I read White Heat because it was WL.  I have all the others in between. I really didn't feel like I had missed too much by reading White Heat before some of the others.  But the rest I plan to read in order.  I searched under Cherry Adair and found a UK website that had a list of her books in order.  The TFlac website has character profiles and stuff.  I found it almost too much info and so I stopped looking around the site until I can read the books.

I really liked her T-FLAC series, but I could not get into the Edge series and ended up trading them on PBS unread.  I think they are a bit paranormal.  Correct me if I am wrong...

They do have a paranormal edge - a curse.  I didn't like the first one but enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd.

The curse is from an ancestor and the brothers have to find true love to break it or something like that.

The Edge ones were my least favorite, but most of her books are on my keeper shelf, I liked them.

I love Cherry Adair. It is best to read the books in order but it is not necessary as each is a stand alone book.  I consider the Edge triolgy more of a spin-off from the other T-FLAC books. The Edge brothers are wizards and are part of T-FLAC's paranormal branch.  The Edge books must be read in order.

The Mercenary is Adair's first book and it shows. It was originally written about 14 years ago, 6 years before the second book in the series. Although it is a good book, I found it a bit lacking so if you decide to start with that book don't let it put you off to continue reading the other books. I started reading the series with Kiss and Tell. My favorites are Hide and Seek, Hot Ice and Out of Sight.

T-FLAC:

The Mercenary

Kiss and Tell

Hide and Seek

In Too Deep

Out of Sight

On Thin Ice

Hot Ice

(Snowball's Chance - Red Hot Santa Anthology)

White Heat

The Edge Trilogy:

Edge of Danger

Edge of Fear

Edge of Darkness

Others:

Take Me

Seducing Mr. Right

Dance with the Devil (Date with a Devil Anthology)

Playing for Keeps (Dare Me Anthology)

Up-coming later this year...

Night Trilogy (T-FLAC psi unit):

Night Fall (August '08)

Night Secrets

Night Shadows

Tropical Heat (T-FLAC, Rescue Me Anthology)

LOL I guess I'm the odd one out her but I really enjoyed her Edge series. There were the first books of hers I read and they made me want to read all of her books. I'm a paranormal fan though so maybe that was the draw.

I had to get the Mercenary on Ebay for around $15 because I couldn't find it anywhere and then wouldn't you know it? They rereleased it!!! I would be interested in knowing if she added to it or not too.

Her website is one of the coolest I have seen from an author too. :)

Edge of Fear was my first Cherry Adair book and then I read Kiss and Tell.  Since then, I've been slowly collecting the other backlist books and my collection is still incomplete.  I enjoy paranormal books so the Edge brother books are enjoyable.  She is a very good author and keeps my attention but I rarely have any keepers...no room with all those boxes of TBR books.

Well I don't want to tell you too much as I don't want to spoil it for you. I really do think you should read the first book though as your idea of the ending might not be correct.

Also I will tell you that there is a happy ending for all. :)
