I was so glad to see Cheryl's update, and I am in awe of her spicy attitude! I thought it might be nice to start a Cheryl thread. We can post when we're thinking of her, or just to give her a boost. Something funny, something encouraging, something inspirational.
Cheryl, you don't have to post or comment...just read! We are all here whenever you need a shoulder (or a book recommendation!)
So I'm going to start with two quotes that I like:
And this is from the book "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" by Aron Ralston. I just loved this:
"For the awe-inspiring power of the greater spirit, I am here to bear witness that there are energies larger than we are that surround us everywhere, and when the times are right, we can connect with those energies. Those times of connection are the spiritual structures of miracles."
Have a good day, Cheryl!!
Great, great thread, Vicky !! Such a great idea. And ... I love quotes, so now I have a perfect reason to indulge.
The human spirit is stronger than anything that can happen to it. ~C.C. Scott
That one seems to be a bit lonely. Let's have another:
Some days there won't be a song in your heart. Sing anyway. ~Emory Austin
You're in my heart, Cheryl,

I agree, I love joining the Cheryl love ;)
My mom's favorite quote has always been "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well" by St. Julian of Norwitch, I believe.
Well my favorite quotes are "I dont mind dealing with Reality, as long as I dont have to live there" and "Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most" oh and of course "When Irish Eyes are Smiling, you know they are up to something.". lol but none of those seem appropriate.
