I love the Jennifer Colt series of the McAfee twins.  It is kind of a chick lit / cozy mystery series.  Does anyone know of any other similar books or series like this (besides Stephanie Plum)?

I'm reading The Spellman Files right now, and I think it can probably fit in to chick lit, and a mystery.  I mostly read chick lit and i'm liking The Spellman Files so far. The link to the book on amazon with synopse and reviews are in my tagline.

Yes! Try the Flower Shop series by Kate Collins. You will love it-there's mystery, a bit of romance, and plenty of humor and small town quirkiness.

Kyra Davis does her Sophie Katz mysteries. They are really fun!

There is Jennifer Sturman mystery series. Also funny.

The Pact (2004)
The Jinx (2005)
The Key (2006)
The Hunt (2007)

and last but certainly not least there is Ellen Byerrum's Crime of Fashion mysteries. They are LOL funny.

Crime of Fashion
1. The Killer Hair (2003)
2. Designer Knockoff (2004)
3. Hostile Makeover (2005)
4. Raiders of the Lost Corset (2006)
5. Grave Apparel (2007)
6. Armed and Glamorous (2008)

I've heard great things about the Bubbles series (by  Sarah Strohmeyer), but I haven't read it yet.

I also recommend the Gemma Halliday series, starting with:

Spying in High Heels

Killer in High Heels

Undercover in High Heels

Alibi in High Heels... and she has a new one coming out next year called Mayhem in High Heels

You could try Nancy Bush's color series: Candy Apple Red, Electric Blue and Ultra Violet.  Heroine is a PI in training in her early 30's w/mother and man issues.

I also liked Sex Murder and a Double Latte.

I have the Gemma Halliday books on my RL.

I liked Meg Cabot's Heather Wells mysteries - size 12, size 14, big boned

kyra davis' sophie katz were pretty good (only read 1st 2 so far)

I like victoria laurie's 2 series - psychic eye and ghosthunters though I wouldnt' say they're 'chick lit' but they're cute and funny/silly in places.

A favorite genre of mine...  In addition to some of my favorites already mentioned - Lisa Lutz (Spellman Files), Kyra Davis, Meg Cabot (Heather Wells mysteries), Sarah Strohmeyer (Bubbles), I've enjoyed Elaine Viets (dead end job mysteries), Laura Levine (Jaine Austen mysteries), Maggie Barbieri (Murder 101, Extracurricular Activities), Chloe Green, Dixie Cash, Sheryl Anderson (Molly Forester mysteries) and Kate White.  Thank you everyone for your suggestions - can't wait to try new authors.

You might want to try the Manolo Matrix. It is actually 3 books in a series, but I can not remember the name of the other two books.

Tori Carrington's Sophie Metropolis books are very good.   She's a Greek-American fledgling private investigator, trying to make a new life for herself, in spite of/with the help of her big extended family.
