I would probably be Mary Lynn McClellan from The Stand-In. She is smart and grounded, but she has been completely thrown in over her head in her new job. I am kinda feeling that way with my new job at work.

If you were dropped into the middle of a chick lit book, which chick would you be?

That's a good question, but one I can't really answer....I haven't read anything lately that relates to me or my life. But when I do, I'll be sure to post it here! :P

Camy Tang's Sushi series!

I'd love to be Venus from Single Sashimi

Hmmm....I would have to say Ashley Stockingdale from With This Ring, I Am Confused (the last in the trilogy by Kristin Billerbeck). She has a serious job (patent attorney...I'm a CPA). She drives a TT; I drive z4 and LOVE it.  We both like Ann Taylor, our shoes, makeup, and our dogs just little too much. Oh and we both love Gone With The Wind. Her MIL-to-be is almost as bad as my MIL, and our wedding planning both went poorly.

If anyone hasn't read these books, they are great! They are Christian chick lit, but very non-preachy. The first one is What a Girl Wants.

Virginia, I loved What a Girl Wants. I have been waiting to scale down my ever-growing TBR pile before I continued. Is the second one With This Ring? Or is it She's Out of Control?

The second one is She's Out of Control. I read her Spa Girls series too, and they were okay, but not nearly as entertaining as the Ashley Stockingdale series.  Have you (or has any one) read her new-ish Trophy Wife books? They are on my wish list because I love Kristin Billerbeck, but I didn't know if they were as good as the Ashley series.

If I could CHOOSE who I would want to be, I would say Katie from the Enchanted series. I would LOVE to have magic in my life. :D

Who is the author of the Stand-In? I tried looking it up on Amazon and for some reason had no luck.

Oddly enough, I just finished the book a week ago and I found myself. I would be Maggie Hunter from the Romancipation of Maggie Hunter. She had serious relationship phobias and I once stopped taking calls from a guy I was dating when he started talking about marriage and kids. I was a month shy of my 35th birthday before I finally tied the knot. Also, there was one part when she told her boyfriend "I'm hungry" and her best friend heard her and told the guy "you have less than half an hour before she turns in to the Incredible Sulk." My mom even laughed because she says I go completely insane if I get too hungry. She discovered that little tidbit before I was even a teenager.
