A great book with a wonderfully common-sense based philosophy for how we should feed our children, though the food allergy information is somewhat out-of-date.

This book is excellent. It is the best I have read on the topic. I recommended it to my pediatrician and I share it with all my friends struggling with feeding and with those that are pregnant. People think that feeding comes natural for kids, but all to often we struggle for power and the kids lose. Please read this!
I LOVED this book! Finally, a way to approach eating issues in a way that leaves both you and your child with dignity...a way that doesn't backfire by creating eating disorders, resentment, or malnutrition. Most children go through a stage of picky eating that drives their parents crazy--I loan this book out to everyone I possibly can, because it's the most common sense way to survive that period. The author has a background in both nutrition AND psychology, so she is uniquely qualified to speak about the emotional impact of having a healthy or unhealthy approach to feeding your family.
