Hi everyone. If you saw my other post you know that I am a new Christian and I am looking for a book about bible stories for children. I was hoping for something with pictures. I will be reading it to my 2 and 4 yr old. I am not sure what to look for. Any suggestions?

Hi Tiffany!  I think it's great that you are starting to share your new faith with your children!  There are many many books of Bible stories for children.  Do you have a Christian book store near you? I would suggest that you go in there and look at their children's section.  If you find something you like and can't afford to buy it new, then you could come back here and request it.  Or check out what they have in your local library.

Also, I did an advanced search on PBS for all posted books in this genre:  Children>>Religions>>Christianity>>Bible>>Stories  and came up with a lot of things.  One of them was The Beginner's Bible for Toddlers.  I think my kids had this when they were little and it was good.

My daughter is 4. We use The Beginner's Bible with her. It has nice, colorful pictures and short Bible stories.

Thank you for you help. I we have a Deseret Book Store here and I didn't even think to look there because they are LDS owned book store. I just went to the website and they do sell Bibles and a few things for kids so I think I will stop in there and see what they have here.
