I purchased this book after reading Stphen King's review in Entertainment Weekly. It does not disappoint; the writing is clean and crisp, characters well nuanced and the plot moves along at a fast clip without any major holes. The book is a well crafted thriller.
Quick read, good writing and interesting characters, this particular story's subject matter was just was a bit off for me... religious zealots, government conspiracy, no one believing the main characters.... not my thing, but still well written and a fast read.
Introducing Evan Delaney. She is trying to protect her nephew from a religious cult and sister-in-law who will stop at nothing to get him. To complicate things, the father is implicated in the murder of one of the cult's leaders.
I liked this book a lot. It was suspenseful and even though had kooky people in it was very believable. I will definitely be ordering the next in the series.
A non-stop thriller. Tightly woven suspense, and one of the FEW times I have ever not figured out who the "bad guy" really was. I highly recommend this book for the mystery and besides that I happen to be married to a guy in a wheelchair, so I liked the reality of the relationship with a guy in a wheelchair!
Intersting but not really of my interest
Very, very much. Full of action, suspense, intrique, humor, wonderful characters. Thanks to Stephen King for recommended this author. Read the whole Delaney series - you will thank me for suggesting it.
