Amazing book for anyone wanting to get to the real truth behind our S.A.D. ( Standard American Diet)nutritional awareness. Real answers for real people trying to revitalize their health through nutrition. The study and it's findings are astonishing! What we are eating is killing us and causing many of our chronic diseases. Get the book, absord the knowledge and change your life for the better!

I think this book is the best "f*** you" to the dairy/meat industry around. This book doesn't just have the China Study in it - it also references 700 other studies. Studies that pretty much all point to one thing: a low fat vegan diet is the healthiest. It's hard to argue with such evidence. What I also like is that the referenced studies are easily found. I always like to check studies out for myself to see who funded them, what bias was present, etc. It was absolutely wonderful to see that most of the studies were funded by impartial third parties. On top of that, Campbell is coming from a background of believing dairy to be good for us. When he started his career, he was trying to figure out how to get more protein - into livestock, into children, etc. So, he wasn't some crazy vegan who made these studies fit his interpretation. The studies changed his viewpoint due to the overwhelming evidence. I really think this should be a mandatory read in medical school, as well as for high schoolers. It's information that everyone should have!
