Not being Chinese by ethnicity, I would not be too eager to comment on the content of this book. It is a collection of ancient wisdom, general in nature, that can be applied to life's situations. It has the feel of a zodiac, though, for the non-Easterner. I have seen it referenced in many books, and now I have a copy. It is a fascinating read. I'll hang on to my copy.
from the back cover:
The I Ching is the most ancient and profound of the Chinese classics, venerated for over three thousand years as an oracle of fortune, a guide to success, and dispensary of wisdom. This new translation, with commentary by Confucius, emphasizes applying practical wisdom in everyday affairs. Complete instructions for consulting the I Ching are included.
