Anna Strong, vampire and bounty hunter, is about to reach the one year anniversary of being a vampire. Legend says that she is the Chosen One. However, she refuses to believe it. After all, what is so special about her that she would be deemed the Chosen One?
I find it very frustrating that she hasn't told David what she is. I love their working relationship.
Anna takes some nasty shots emotionally and physically as she begins to comprehend how treacherous being the Chosen One can be when you're even unsure of your friends.
So many questions were answered that have been building throughout the series. The twists in this book and the fallout from those events should make the next book really interesting.
