I've only read maybe 2 and they were both good 'miss invisible' and 'reconstructing natalie' - think they're by laura jensen walker. natalie's book was a bit sad 'breast cancer and the aftermath' but miss invisible was funny in places. they're part of a 'women of faith' series or somethng like that and I posted in that forum asking about the others and had some replies...I have 'my life as a doormat' to read and a couple other books by walker.

Me!  I generally like it a lot.  Also Betty Neels books from Harlequin... they aren't "Christian" but they have that "innocense" to them that makes me appreciate the story for what it is.

I love Christian Chick Lit. Check out my reviews. I think at least half of them are Christian Chick Lit.  There is a thread for this also on Christian Book Discussion.

Susan May Warren is a great author!  I am waiting for the second book in a series by her.  I really enjoyed the first book "Happily Ever After".   Check her out!

well, the few I've read you could definitely tell...characters in the book praying, no sex, clean language, church was mentioned in a few. The ones I've read and liked all the above occurred and I still liked the storyline and characters. I'm Christian but obviously preachy stuff usually bugs me but I've liked books by Laura Jensen Walker and another love inspired suspense mystery I read and enjoyed involving a murder at a church lunch. I'm not sure what the 'official' defiition is but the 5 or so I've read have involved a character going through life changes and none of the above happening!

I just finished reading Savannah from Savannah and it was really a good story.  I know there are two more after that one with the same characters

I've read quite a bit that I've liked (and I few that I didn't). I loved Emily Ever After and the Book of Jane by I can't remember their names (two authors). They also had another book I really liked. I can't remember that right now either, but maybe after I finish my cup of coffee it'll hit me. (Consider Lily; Anne Dayton and May Vanderbile). I pretty much liked all of Kristen Billerbeck's books (What a Grils Wants, etc). I have a couple of Laura Jensen Walker's books in my TBR pile. And a Susan May Warren book that um may be on someone's wish list. I also enjoyed Hip to be Square and Altar Call by Hope Lyda. I have Life, Libby and the Pursuit of Happiness in my TBR pile. Oh, and I just finished Stealing Adda and liked it, though I thought it could have been about 50 to 100 pages shorter.

I second the Sisterchick books and I also like the Yada Yada Prayer Group series by Neta Jackson.
