I'm glad you posted that Deborah.  A lot of them I have heard of but a good many that I haven't.

If you can find them (there are some on PBS) Guideposts has a series by different authors, The Church Choir mysteries.  I have read several of them and they are good.  You will need to watch though the PBS listings as a lot of them are where people used their own ISBN# so there are the same titles but different numbers.

 
The main character does catering so there are recipes in a lot of the books.  I still use one of the recipes I read to make punch for church gatherings.
