It has begun...Refuse new coins!

This is true, got 3 the other day and did not even think about them til I got this email, this is just not a good thing

The fact that this coin was even minted is a very sad statement about our current government and society.  Just my opinion.

REFUSE NEW COINS

This simple action will make a strong statement.

Please help do this.. Refuse to accept these when they are handed to you.

I received one from the Post Office as change and I asked for a dollar bill instead.

The lady just smiled and said 'way to go' , so she had read this e -mail.

Please help out...our world is in enough trouble without this too!!!!!

U.S.Government to Release New Dollar Coins

[]

You guessed it

'IN GOD WE TRUST' IS GONE!!!

If ever there was a reason to boycott something, THIS IS IT!!!!

DO NOT ACCEPT THE NEW DOLLAR COINS AS CHANGE

Together we can force them out of circulation..

Yes, this one is old as the hills.  And also, why should there be "In God We Trust" on the coins anyway?   The USA is not a theocracy or a "Christian" country- yet.......

I choose to think that the God mentioned is Shiva, Athena or possibly the mighty Thor.  I like to keep my options open.

I prefer to think that the mint is dyslexic and they really meant to put "In Dog we trust." on the currency.

The thread was labled "Christian News", thereby warning you (general) that there will be Christian ideas within.  I honor the right of each of you to enter, read, and even comment in a thread like this even if you are not Christian, or do not agree with the OP....But to come in and begin to ridicule and mock the orgininal poster's "God of choice", is downright rude, snarky, and just plain uncalled for.  The poster did not condem, mock, or ridicule your religion, or anyone else's, they were simply putting up info that they thought other Christians might be interested in.  Just because the poster may be misinformed, that isn't an excuse to come in and start mocking thier religion.  And yes, I would say this about any other religious post, not just Christian.

This poster only has 13 posts, and none of them have been a mocking post in any of your religious threads, so why choose to mock her God, just because she jumped the gun on this info?    It's wrong, plain and simple.  Come on people, I know you are better than this.
