Robin Cook is a new author to me and this audiobook is my first story. It is EXCITING! I love the characters, I love the plot. Plenty of intrigue. I had an abridged version and it focused on the action giving enough detail to involve you in the plot. I recommend!

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this book a "9." It's full of intrigue, excitement and violence, and while its theme is somewhat sci-fi-ish (and not medical thriller-genre like most of Cook's books), it is a good story nonetheless.
I really enjoyed the character Jack Stapleton. A real conscientious forensic pathologist.
