Book Reviews of The Chronicles of Pern: First Fall (Dragonriders of Pern)

This was an interesting book but I wish I could have read it first instead of after I read the rest of the series. A lot of what is in the book explains things that are in the rest of the series.

According to an "official" guide, this book is #10 of 16.

This was a good compilation of Pern Stories but i would not have labeled it as a book but as a grouping of short Pern stories.

Gave an interesting introduction to the PERN series. I enjoyed it, but wished I had read book 1 in the series first.

This is as usual quality writing from Anne Mccafrey.

Loved the part about the egg hatchlings choosing their riders! Very entertaining reading.
