An excellent and clever retelling of the fairy tale of the princess at the top of a glass hill, whose knight must climb the hill on horseback. Modern sensibilities make this a delight!

A fun slant on the old tale-Cinderella is a boy and wouldn't you know it he has no fairy godmother, just two unfriendly brothers. Yet he is determined to win the heart of his Princess Charming! This book has a nice message about kindness and setting your mind to something. Great for any 8-10 year old.

Another of Levine's hilarious fractured fairy tales.
