Does anyone grow citrus trees in the south and what tips can you give?  We have planted a grapefruit, and orange and a tangerine tree and want to get a patio lemon tree.  Any suggestions.  We see them in other yards and they are doing great.

You can do it! :) My mom has a lemon tree (she lives near Valdosta) and it does amazingly well.

Frances, contact your agricultural extension agent over there in Cook County. He/she should be able to provide valuable growing information.
