Cree Black puts the "psychologist" in "parapsychologist", using her training to take a new approach to finding and documenting ghosts. This novel finds Cree called to New Orleans to investigate the haunting of a Garden District mansion, only to be pulled into a family's efforts to hide its terrible secrets.

If you are a fan of Charlaine Harris' Harper Connelly series, you will probably like this book. The book is genuinely interesting, and full of interesting information about New Orleans, scary supernatural appearances, and well rounded characters.
