I think I'm finally going to get my act together and apply.  Anyone else thinking about it?  However, I am still slightly traumatized about missing the Neil Gaiman/Kelly Link summer.  They have some really good people teaching this year, too:  George RR Martin, the VanderMeers, Samuel R. Freaking Delaney, etc.

Um sorry wayyyyy out of my price range at $4,000.  Looks neat though, I guess if you were lucky and got a scholarship which are very hard to come by, then it would be ok.  But the price, having to take time off work, just makes it impossible.
I'd got alittle nutty being around strangers 24/7 like that. I get that they want to foster a bonding experience but I could not tolerate it.

Not my favorite either, but It would be worth it for the career boost, I think.  It's one of those things that if I got in, I would find a way to do it as I think the benefits would be so spectacular and it's such a once in a lifetime sort of thing.

I don't think you should. Better you should schmooze people at conventions and try to put your wonderful blog in front of the eyes of a "somebody" in the field.
