I am an "organization book junkie," and Aslett's straightforward, no holds barred approach is the best yet. Instead of telling us how to maximize our storage, he gets to the root of the issue. The author pinpoints the cost - in time, space, money, and relationships - connected with everything not useful or inspiring that we hang on to needlessly. If you like "warm fuzzies," you may be jarred by his in-your-face style, but Aslett throws in enough humor to help the medicine go down. I guarantee that after reading this book, you'll never look at your stuff the same way. A good exhortation for the whole family.

If you're like me, you know you have a clutter problem but the dejunking process seems exhausting and painful. This book applies common sense to the emotional ties we attach to stuff. I have now gained the motivation needed to begin this long-overdue process.
