Great book - I couldn't put it down. Air Force captain Joe Greco had stood silently by when photojournalist Brigid Wheeler fell for his best friend, and he lent her comfort when Cooper was killed. Now he was forced to play protector as they embarked on the most dangerous mission of their lives.

The covert operation was a chance for Brigid to avenge Cooper's death, and nothing would stop her from following Joe into the action. In the heat of danger Joe and Brigid finally surrendered to the explosive passion that burned between them. Then they discovered a shattering truth: Cooper was alive...and the ultimate betrayal was still to come.

Great book - lots of suspense and great romance.

This author caught me by surpise - she is an amazing writer. YOu get so caught up in the suspense and drama - the entire day has passed and you can't put the book down until you finish it.

Luckily, I grabbed some of her other books too once I realized she was so good. Looking forward to the next book!

You won't be disappointed

I really enjoyed this book. Good plot.

I really enjoyed this fast paced book. n a lot of scenes, the emotions were nicely written and I was able to step into the pages.

I wanted to like this book because it had all the elements I usually enjoy in an armed forced romance: strong heroines, alpha heroes, big guns and men who know how to use them, fast planes/helicopters and hot sex. But for some reason the story didn't do it for me. Also, I'm not a fan of 2-in-1 romances, so be forewarned.

I didn't give a fig for Cooper. What a self-absorbed loser. Now Joe, on the other hand, was hot, hot, hot, and so in love with Brigid it was painful to read about it. I just wish he hadn't waited so long to claim her.

Great read. Hope to see more in the series.

Good story, but the dialog felt wrong in places.

This is my first book of hers it was great.

IN THE HEAT OF DANGER, JOE & BRIGID FINALLY SURRENDERED TO THE EXPLOSIVE PASSION THAT BURNED BETWEEN THEM. THEN THEY DISCOVERED A SHATTERING TRUTH: COOPER WAS ALIVE...AND THE ULTIMATE BETRAYAL WAS STILL TO COME...
