Fabulous, funny look into 1939 small Massachusetts town life. "Professor Leonidas Witherall's house in the suburgs - brand new and fully equipped - awaited his arrival.
Everything in thr home of the part-time supersleuth had been taken care of. In the closet were monogrammed towels, in the kitchen were bright colored fixtures, and in the garage was a woman - polished off and very dead.
This is a comic mystery.
