Casey Lund's father abandoned her and her mother for the air force years ago. So Casey is forced to learn how to make it on her own. And she's done darn mell including raising two sons. Now the Colonel is dying and asking for a reconciliation, according to Major Matt Patterson. She wanted to hate Matt for what he represented but she couldn't deny that the dashing major was everything she could ever want in a man.
