This is a great reference to have, because the pictures are of unfixed specimens, so it gives a better idea of a real necropsy if not a real surgery. It also includes pictures of the skeletons and radiographs. I refer to this all the time when I need to visualize the anatomy of a specific region in preparing for surgery or physical exams. This and Dyce (and of course Miller) are, in my opinion, the best Antatomy references for after you finish Anatomy class!
