An absolutely could-not-put-down book. Shows everything that's wrong with lawyers and everything that's good about lawyers. Why we hate them and why we need them. I just loved it.

I LOVED this book! It has well formed characters, good vs evil (in many forms) and several intertwined story lines. The next time this author has a book pubished, I will buy it right away. If this is ever made into a movie, I'll be there on opening night too.

Subtle this book is not! The plot is completely obvious, but written up energetically and entertainingly.

The tale of a Dallas based lawyer that has to make the ultimate sacrifice: lose his high paying job, Highland Park mansion, and marriage to represent a prostitute in a murder trial. Good first novel by Gimenez, but I hope his next isn't so repetitive. I was on the of my seat at the end, but I think Gimenez has room for improvement!
