I really wanted to read this book before I watch the movie. It's amazing that this book was written in the 1970's, but we can still relate to it today, almost 40 years later. This edition has updated. The author added HIV and one of the characters is now a war veteran as explained by the author in the beginning. I enjoyed this book overall and it was a quick read.
