This is the first Anderson book I have read and while I found the length a bit larger than my usual reads I really enjoyed this book. I am usually not a fan of Native American historical works but this story is so real that I found myself immediatly immersed in the characters lives and world. A great and honorable story of how love can force us to lay down our fears of past hurts and the unknown.

Catherine Anderson is one of my favorite authors, but for me this book was ok. I think it was a liite slow. It took me alittle while to finish it,because it didn't hold my interest as I like.

This is the first book in a trilogy and it sets up the second book quite well. I wonder how much research was done prior to writing about native american tribes... but other than (maybe) being a bit contrived, this was a cute, quick read. Perfect for a long flight, a day at the beach, or a rainy day at home. A good love story and likable characters.

Love her books, this is not the best but still really good to read
This is one of the best books by far that Catherine Anderson has written! Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions as C.A. brings our past history back to life. She had created a story that will pull you in and keep you hanging on until the very last moment. I couldn't put this book down and when I was finished I was ready to read the book again! Wow!
Well written. Great plot and characters. LIked it a lot.
This is the follow-up to the story of Commanche Heart...This storyline is one for everyone! it will make you laugh, cry, it touches all your emotions! A really must read for all!!

I really enjoyed this book, can't wait to read more in the series.
This was one of the best books I have ever read
I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. It was a great love story woven with the historical background of the struggle between the native americans and the white settlers. I thought it was very well done.
I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
