Wanted these to be novels and not just short stories. Kept getting involved with the characters and then the story was over. Is that what you look for in a good short story?

I loved this book. The stories are simple, yet twisted, and it was exciting to discover that some of them were connected. Amy Bloom is a great writer. I look forward to read more from her.

A book of well-written, touching short stories.
Well written, as usual. Enjoyed the stories-especially those that were connected to other ones in the book. Interesting.
