There are a bunch in the system, some even listed as paperbacks.

Some comics have been published in paperback form.  If it has an ISBN number (rather than an ISSN number), I believe it is fair game.

Regular comics have adveritisments, so they can't be listed here as they cannot be sent media mail.

Compliations of comic books into graphic novels, however, can be posted.  These do not have advertisements so they can be sent media mail.  (And, I guess that they have ISBN numbers as well.)

Yes, as stated above. I, for one, am delighted and have ordered lots of them for my 10 yo. Why do you ask?

I was only curious. I knew magazines weren't & comics are a magazine.

There was a guy here a while back, and he may still be here, maybe reading this right now.......Anyway, he offered comics with an order from his shelf.  He got a big response, IIRC, and we ordered from him too.

Melanie is correct.

Single issue comics are not allowed because they contain advertisements. However, novels written in comic form (without advertisements) are allowed. An example is the new book by Dean Koontz - In Odd We Trust.

This is also permitted, as long as you're not trading magazine-type comics for credits, and you don't send them media mail (magazines have ads and can't go via media mail).

As folks have stated, graphic novels, comic compilations (like the books of collected Garfield or Calvin & Hobbes strips) and manga (a sort of Japanese comic book) are permitted.

As always, if you find an item posted which you feel doesn't meet PBS guidelines, you can post it in the "suspicious items" thread: http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=9603

Cheers,
