True and eye opening account of the effect of global warming on the earth's weather. This book explains in readable fashion the effect of one terrible recent year-1998-on the world's landmasses. From Tennesse to the Maldives, different violent weather patterns and viewpoints are explained in the cost of numbers of people affected and cost of property damage. Bob Reiss also covers the actions of governments along the way and heartbrakingly explains why the Kyoto treaty was never signed by the U. S. If you're not convinced global warming is happening-read this book!
