I am not interested in any of the Star Wars books, not that I don't like them, that just is not my search at this time. I usually don't pay any attention to the authors, but I have read a few books by Timothy Zahn and enjoy his style of writing. I have 8 of his books. I read Conquerors' Pride and then found out that it was part of a series. I have been able to find all three of this series. I always try to avoid books in series, because it is hard to find the whole series in used book stores. I get to reading a book and find out that the book is part of a series and I am reading the second book.

In the front of the books there is usually a list of the books that are in a series. I went online and in the front of the books that I have and tried to assemble a list, but it is not complete.

Question, does any know where I can find a complete list of Timothy Zahn's books that shows what series they are a part of and the order in which they should be read ?

If you enjoyed his Conquerors series, I suggest trying his Cobra series next. . . all three of the original books (Cobra, Cobra Strike, and Cobra Bargain) are now conveniently available in an omnibus that you should be able to find at most major bookstores. It isn't available on PBS, sadly, but there aren't that many people who have it wishlisted, so you might even be able to get it here soon. The omnibus is called The Cobra Trilogy, and the ISBN is 978-1439133187.

This is where I am confused and would like to find a complete list of his books. I have Cobra Bargain. I do not have Cobra or Cobra Strike. However, I find listed in his books Cobra Two and Cobra Alliance. Are these two a part of the Cobra series ? I do not want to start reading until I have a complete series. I am hoping that I can find the books on this website.

Cobras Two is an omnibus of Cobra and Cobra Strike, so if you alread have Cobra Bargain you should definitely get it and read them in that order. Cobra Alliance is a new book (the other three were written in the 80s) which I have not read that it looks like is affiliated with the other three, but I do not know how. Check out the links Caviglia provided -- they have very complete information. I only added my two cents of a recommendation because I also enjoy Zahn's work. :)

GREAT, Thanks for your help. Now I have another question. I am trying to do the same thing for Harry Turtledove. I have three of his books and would like to fill in the blanks.

Alas, I can't help with Harry Turtledove. . . I've never read him. Wikipedia appears to have a nicely laid out list of his works (and looking at it you'll definitely need some kind of reference, as he is one of those authors who also uses pseudonyms) here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_turtledove

But you might want to start another discussion asking for Harry Turtledove info. . . so that his fans can help you out rather than passing by this Timothy Zahn discussion. :)
