This book, besides being informative on the use of herbs at various life stages, is a visually satisfying book. Each detailed explanation of the herb is preceded by a lovely full color picture of the plant. The sections include puperty, menstrual cycle, preconception and fertility, pregnancy and childbirth, breastfeeding and infant care, followed by the later years. The appendices are very helpful, from the glossary to where to find the herbs for sale, to further reading. This is another great book for the home health library.
