Frequently when I sit down at the computer, one of our two cats insists on sitting in my lap (or on the mousepad) and 'helping'.

Do you have a PBS/computer helper?

Here's one of mine:

Why yes. As you can see, he's "helping" me right now...

Ah man, good to know I'm not the only one trying to type past a furball!!!  My "helper" is Renn, the smoke grey sweetie cat shown last on the left group of my signature cats!  She just LOVES to get between me and the keyboard, and is firmly convinced she is better viewing than anything I might want to see beyond her on the monitor!!!

ETA:  Lisa, I think your precious helper is sooo cute!!!  (Denise, your cat looks like he's just asking when you are next going to be on computer, so he/she can prepare! LOL)

Out of the six I only have three who have to be helping me. Daisy, Christy and Mimi just sit on my lap and it gets hard trying to type with a cat trying to get petted. Bubbles will sit on my lap, stand in front of the monitor and the worst is when she thinks that most of the stuff on the desk is hers. I've had to hide the pens and pencils or they get taken and disappear. In fact she took the live-cam off the monitor.

I don't have any helpers at present but wanted to say how much I'm enjoying seeing yours.

Thanks

Just think how boring it would be working at the computer without our helpers cheeky

I have 2 current feline furbabies - Jazzy and MeeMee. Sometimes they'll sit and wait for any invitation to hop up, but if I take too long they take the initiative. Lately Jazzy likes to watch the printer to be sure the paper comes out okay and MeeMee likes to lay on the top of the CRT monitor to feel the warmth.

Several years ago the WordPerfect icon disappeared from my desktop and I thought the program had been deleted. Luckily it was just the icon that was deleted. One of the cats stepped on the right combination of keys to select the icon and hit Delette surprise

I feel bad for the members who got assigned me as a tour guide. The first night I was trying to post to my new members, using my iPad, my little grey, four footed helper, Moose, decided to walk on the touch screen - sending my welcoming message to everyone I have ever helped. *hangs head, and cuddles Moose*
