Everyone has one or more, an author and/or series that "you have to have" as soon as the new one comes out, even if you (gasp!) have to pay retail.  And then, once you've got it in your hands, you read it until it's finished despite the housework, the kids, the DH, the job or anything else.  Come on, fess up, who's on your list?

I have Kleypas' Hathaways series on auto-buy as well - even though I didn't enjoy the last one much.  I'll be in the bookstore with bells on the very day that anything by Sherry Thomas, Meredith Duran, Carrie Lofty,  Loretta Chase, Connie Brockway, Laura Kinsale, Karen Ranney, or (please, God) Marsha Canham get released:P

Well, I'm reading Shoot to Thrill right now, which just came out yesterday.  So I guess that P.J. Tracy is near the top of my list of auto-buys!   Diana Gabaldon is also.    And this month  I'll be at the bookstore on release date for the newest books in Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series and Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen series.

Oh, sigh!  There's no good bookstore around here anymore.  I have to order my books online.  B & N said my Shoot To Thrill shipped yesterday, so I am counting the days.  And the new O'Connor that I ordered from Amazon (which they listed as in stock and ready to go several days ago) still hasn't shipped.  It is so frustrating.

Yes, I second Ava Gray and I too bought Feehan's Seven Sister's as soon as they came out. I loved that series and hated to see it end. I am hoping the follow up series, Sister's of the Heart gives us a glimpse of how the sister's are doing. Since the series is still in Sea Haven.

That's what makes this week-and the upcoming month actually SO exciting.  After seeing not alot of "must buy NOW" favorites for months, this week and the next month have several(thank goodness for gift cards).

Mary Jo Putney-I've barely been able to dip a finger into "Never Less than a Lady" since Tuesday and it's sooo frustrating.  Dang, work, house and kids....

Carla Kelly-I will be ordering "Marrying the Royal Marine" first thing Saturday from harlequin(they release online a month early).

Mary Balogh and Joanna Bourne-both have new releases within the next month.

Linda Lael Miller's Creeds and McKenzie series. Love her writing.  If LaVyrle Spencer ever came out of retirement, I would drive to Minnesota to buy a book from her porch!

I have to admit that I'm so far behind with every author that I don't really anticipate their upcoming release. I'm always thrilled to know a favorite author has a new book coming out but it will probably be months or longer before I even get to the book that I almost wish......naw I was going to say I almost wish they weren't coming out with a new book but I'd be lying.
