I got this from LT as part of their Early Reviewer's program and am enjoying it.  I didn't really know much about Madame Serpent, so this has been a fun book to read, learning about the French court, etc.   Now I have no clue what liberties were taken with history, but as so happens when I read HF, I go looking for the real history afterwards.

You lucky girl! I really liked his book about Juana and I read it before he polished it up after he sold it to Random House. I'd like to read a new copy, just to see if much was changed.

Definitely looking forward to seeing what he can do with some like Catherine de Medici!

I also read his book about Juana, and this one sounds good!

I won it at LT too, but I think that was in March. I haven't received it yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to reading it.

Genie - I got mine last week, I think, but I'm in NJ (close to the publisher).   Came very fast - as opposed to Hester which I finally got (it was December win, I think).
