I just posted 3 books from my tbr pile (I really had read them already!).  One was on somebody's auto wish list.  I posted it, and it disappeared!  I don't have a request for a book... it is not on my tbr pile... it is just GONE.   If I don't see it show up soon, somewhere, I want to post it again... I think.

Check your bookshelf page on your account.  AR books go into a 1 hour hold and they are still your bookshelf page with a little grey circle with an exclamation point in it where the box is to check or uncheck the book.  It'll pop through in aobut 1 hour for you to accept.

Okay, I will check back in an hour.  I have the whole series that their book belongs to - so I wanted to PM them in case they want them all.

thanks!

Sheryl, that happened to me just this past weekend. I also did it from my TBR pile and was sure I'd posted it because I got the message box asking if I was sure the book was postable according to PBS guidelines. My book was on the wishlists of 47 members, yet it wasn't put on wishlist hold or anything. It didn't even show up on my bookshelf. I didn't want to re-post it in case it was on WL hold for someone and there was some glitch that didn't indicate that on my page. I talked to my tour guide and she found out that according to PBS records, the book hadn't posted at all, so it was safe to post. This time, it "took". I'm both sorry and glad I wasn't the only person this happened to- for a while there, I thought I'd gone crazy!

Once it's accepted completely (after the 1 hr thing), it will show as a request and you can PM the requestor from there.    I didn't notice this 1 hr delay thing either when it first started.  I hadn't posted any books in a while so I wasn't sure what was going on:lol:
