Every American should read the Constitution. The intent of the founders of this country is quite clear. I believe that in the past few years we have come far off the course they set, especially in the effort to increase presidential authority. The Constitution makes great pains to carefully separate powers among the three branches of government, is shows clear concern to prevent a president from gaining too much power. This Constitution is abount governmnet by the people, not by the president.
