Does anyone know how to contact a "live" person from PBS? No one answers the phone when you call the business office and the librarian is of no help. Is there another way to contact them?

I don't know that there is a phone number for PBS. If you click on Contact us at the bottom of the page you can send a message to the people who run the site. If they need to give you a phone number they can. And of course there are all the neat people on the site who are ready and willing to help you, if they can.

I've used the contact link and have gotten very quick responses.

Welcome to PBS Denise, anything we can help you with?

I've also received quick responses when using the 'Contact Us' link.

Remember, most of the admin peeps are probably on the cruise.  I suspect we're running on a minimal crew.

The phone # is for business use only, not for getting support for the site. Business use would be if you are the supplier of an item sold in the kiosk or a person who runs the data center where the servers are located or something like that.

If you are a club member who needs help with a swap or with something about the club's workings, then asking us here in the forum or asking your tour guide will probably get you the fastest answer. Next fastest is to use the Contact Us link to send a feedback message as others have pointed out.

I am asking for a friend of mine, and she has used the feedback link but  keeps getting the same "librarian", who has locked her out of her account and won't let her in. I read the emails and messages from the librarian and its like she is playing a childish game, so my friend asked if I could locate another way to contact them and get help plus she wants to turn in the emails and lodge a complaint. She has been a member for over 4 years and is shocked at what they are doing. She has even contacted her attorney because its been over a week she has been unable to access her account. I know she loved this site and recommended it to everyone and she runs her own business and was always telling people about this site, many of our friends use this site too. I don't think she is going to be bragging anymore she is really pisst off.

Any other help would really help Thanks

My friend says she has swapped something like over 400 books and never has had a problem or complaint from anyone until now.

There is no phone for support, methods are the Contact Us or Live Help (which is just member help which would not be used for this kind of thing); its a free site, there is no staff paid to man phones.

I am sorry your friend is having problems, but the e-mails she is receiving signed by the "librarian" is from the site's administrative staff.  I am pretty sure that that person really is the only one who handles that type of stuff. Your friend could send the information she wants to send to Richard, his email is also under the Contact Us link. I would suggest that she not waste her money on an attorney. When she signed up for the site, she agreed to the Terms of Use which has a termination clause which allows the site to terminate any member's account they have deemed to have violated the site rules.

Why was her account suspend in teh first place? Some of posters might be able to offer some insight in the meantime.
