Hello, this is my first post but I have been a long time reader and had great results following everyone's recommendations.  I'm writing because I am in a mood I can't shake and have exhausted all the books I know of to suite that mood...  So, I need some help!  I just finished Blue Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas and I loved it.  So I went back and re-read Sugar Daddy and then went back and read Paradise, Perfect, and Remember When by Judith McNaught.

Can anyone help me find some books like these that can feed my mood?  I'm loving the sweet poignancy of these novels so I'm not really interested in romantic suspense right now.  I've read all of Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Rachel Gibson.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Sweet poignancy... um, I would go with the rest of McNaught books!!! I love her. Although, these are historicals(all on my keeper shelf!):

Whitney My Love,

Something Wonderful,

Almost Heaven

Thanks!  I'm laughing because that is exactly what I'm doing!! And they always deliver.  Still craving the contemporary, tho...

You can try Jennifer Crusie (Bet Me), Sue Civil-Brown (Hurricane Hannah), Jennifer Greene (Blame it on Chocolate), Carly Phillips (Cross My Heart), Vicki Lewis Thompson (Nerd Series), ummm, I kmow there are a lot more, but I can't think of them:)

Have you tried Catherine Anderson? She has a series about the Coulter family but she also has some stand alone contemporaries.

or maybe......... Luanne Rice I liked  Follow The Stars Home and Summer Light...........Kristin Hannah also has some good books

You could try Susan Mallery, Maureen Child, or JoAnn Ross--they're some of my favorite contemporary authors.

I like Deborah Smith for an emotional read that's not a suspense type novel.
