Anyone have good recs for contemporary British romances?  Sort of English village type?  I have the Diane Kauffman Black Sheep books in my TBR. I'm kind of looking for comedic/light hearted ones.

Any series about British/European football/soccer stars?

Imperfect English by Katie McAlister is contemp and takes place in England...not a great 'romance' imo..the woman is a selfish self centered bitch :-) but she's funny once you get over caring about the couple...

Try Katie McAlister, Jane Green (I loved Jemima J - though part of the book is set in LA), and Sophie Kinsella.

I have no idea about British athletes.  Someone out there needs to write one, I guess.

Mary,

Suzanne Enoch has a good series about a British nobleman and a "reformed" American jewel/art thief named Samantha Jellicoe. I really liked them. They are sometimes LOL funny. Samantha reminds me a little of a blonde Stephanie Plum.

I don't remember what order they belong in, but here they are:

Flirting With Danger

Don't Look Down

A Touch of Minx

Billionaires Prefer Blondes

Twice the Temptation

Hope this helps. Pam

Sherry, I think there may be too many spaces after your URL.  Does this link work?

That linked worked although I'm not that big on the little series romances.  They just aren't long enough to make the plot make sense to me you know. THey feel rushed.
