My 10 year old son ate this series up! He would sit and read and tell us the tales. It's a great book for an adventurous young person!

Great start to a great series! Korman's magic of taking you to someplace else in the world that you read about is incredible in this story.

We read this aloud, my husband, 17 year old and I. As avid hikers, campers and adventurers with teens, this really satisfied us. It is written in a way that lends itself to reading aloud. We were extremely pleased with the pacing, the problems clearly laid out and the way the characters showed who they really were.
